A standard internal stable is usually 12ft x 12ft, but our stables are built to order, so partitions can be manufactured to any size you require.
This means they can be fitted into awkward spaces – particularly useful in old barns. Doors are usually centrally positioned and can be made to open either way.
Standard assembly of doors includes heavy hinges, a kick over bolt at the bottom and an anti tamper bolt at the top. Sliding doors (where suitable) are available at extra cost.
Our internal stabling is supplied ready to erect with only the doors to hang and the boards to fit. This is easy to do but does require two strong people. If you prefer we can erect them for you for a minimal extra charge.
Other variations and extras include decorative wavy fronts, side grilles, anti weave grilles, low level hay feeders, rug rails and barred tack room roofs for security. Bubble top 18mm solid rubber matting can also be supplied at very competitive prices – please enquire.
We are happy to provide quotations from a rough sketch – just mark on the sketch which way you intend the doors to open and also any areas for tack rooms etc. Please also provide contact details and the address for delivery so that we can accurately calculate delivery costs.
We do not make a profit out of deliveries and will always keep them to a minimum by using the smallest possible vehicle and combining loads whenever it is feasible.
When planning you should consider factors such as ventilation, drainage, water supply and access. You should also work out the positioning of tack rooms, wash bays, feed and bedding storage, dung heaps, lorry parking and staff facilities as they will all impact on the final design of the project.
Straight rows, back to back or American barn style – the choice is yours. We will happily make a site visit to discuss your individual needs and to determine the best option for your situation. We always look for the most efficient and cost effective solutions and will not try to sell you unwanted extras. We have built stables in most districts of mainland UK, particularly in the south of England and if you are interested in inspecting some we will try to find some in your area for you to look at. Seeing the stables in use, perhaps after many years, and hearing what our customers have to say about them is the best recommendation and quality assurance we can provide.
